Our school is warm and welcoming, where the children are happy and secure and school days are vibrant and busy. The Prep School house is large and rambling, giving a homely feel and the grounds give space for our children to run and play sport. Nestled between the sea, countryside and town, our unique location provides numerous opportunities to learn outside of the classroom.
Every child is valued as an individual and their unique qualities and talents are nurtured. We ensure aspirational academic outcomes for all our pupils. There are approximately one hundred and twenty children in the Prep School which means that we know every child and their family. We believe being a genuinely small prep school means we can provide a bespoke education that prepares pupils for life at senior school. Our children develop a sense of true worth as an individual and also as part of the Battle Abbey family.
