The team for the inter county 70cms Showjumping final consisted of Isobelle, Eliza, Mia and Sophia. The team were hugely supportive of each other and, we think its fair to say, didn’t have the easiest of times in some trying conditions! That said Sophia and Jake still managed to ride a double clear for the team!
The 80cms Eventers Challenge was very big and very scary with every jump lined with birch leaves (the wind wasn’t helping either!).
The team faired better in the qualifiers for the Addington finals in the 75cm Showjumping, where Sophia and Jake finishing 6th, Sophia and Smokey 7th (with clear rounds qualifying individually for the Championship Plate), and Eliza and Bee finishing a very credible 10th.
In the 85cm class Sophia and Smokey finished 11th, Sophia and Jake 14th (with two clear rounds), Isobelle and Halona finished 23rd and Eliza and Bee 26th.
In the 95cm we had Isobelle and Halona riding as individuals over a very big course finishing an amazing 17th.
The upshot being that the 80 show jumping team qualified again for the Addington finals so the team will have lots going in October!
