A round up of what turned out to be a fantastic MFL (Modern Foreign Language) Activities Week at the Abbey! Events and activities included Language Bingo with winners prizes of French sweets (which you can’t buy in England). Calligraphy workshops in Mandarin, Greek, Arabic and Russian (All expertise of current staff and sixth formers). An interactive show performed by the Big Wheel Theatre Company, A beautiful performance in Latin from the BAS Chamber Choir and a themed assembly featuring fairy-tale extracts read in Basque, Russian, French, Italian and Danish.
