Pupils from Year 6 visited Berwick Church as part of their RS curriculum on the Crucifixion. When then arrived, they had an introductory talk, took part in two art activates, and had some very informative talks about some of the amazing art and activities of the church. They also walked to Alciston Church and had the opportunity to compare the differences between the two settings.
Our trip organiser at the Church said; “It really was a delight to host your Year 6 class today. They seemed so interested and were the most polite children I think we have ever had here! A real credit to them, their families and your school. Their candles and artworks were beautiful too. I really hope that you will come again”
