We are thrilled to celebrate the launch of our brand-new Ecology and Sustainability lessons here at Battle Abbey Prep, marking an exciting step in our commitment to nurturing environmentally conscious young minds. Led by Mr Malewicz, Mr Barraclough and Mrs Manktelow, our pupils have eagerly immersed themselves in learning about local ecosystems, exploring the rich biodiversity right here in our own school grounds. From identifying native plants and trees to understanding how our impact on the world around us affects various flora and fauna, the children are developing a deeper connection to the natural world around them. As part of our ongoing green journey, they’ve also been busy collecting seeds in preparation for next week’s planting in our house copses—an inspiring project that puts sustainability into action and empowers our students to become true stewards of the environment.
