Our IAPS journey started back in February and finished in spectacular fashion during the summer term at the National finals held at the wonderful London Aquatic Centre. This year saw Battle Abbey school qualify for the most events ever; with BAS qualifying in two relays and two individual events. It was a remarkable day in a wonderful setting and all of our swimmers rose to the occasion, and the location, and the results were as follows. Girls U11 8 x 25 metres Freestyle relay (of Elodie, Phoebe, Annie-Rose, Isabella, Madison, Ashley, Chloe and Addison). The team came 3rd. The boys U11 4 x 25 metres Freestyle relay (of Ishaan, Lucas, Oliver and Felix). The team came 18th. In the individual events Elodie competed in the U11 50m freestyle race and came in 15th place. James, in the U10 50m freestyle race, also came 15th. As a school we are incredibly proud of all our swimmers and the months of training they have put in. This is another fantastic results for our wonderfully talented swimmers.
