After a lot of tender loving care and regular re-strawing, our strawberry crop was ready to harvest. Pupils had great fun picking the strawberries from their hiding places and (mainly!) resisted the temptation to eat them there and then! The bountiful harvest was then served up with butterscotch cream for lunch. Delicious – but with an important message about sustainability and where our food comes from. From Prep patch to pudding!
