The school Guardians-elect visited the Prep on Wednesday. They discussed with Mr Elms, Head of Prep and Nursery, their ideas of how the Senior School and Prep could work more closely in the future and how they would like to see more opportunities for Prep pupils to learn from their senior counterparts – across both sites.
The Guardians-elect were then quizzed by eager Prep pupils as they toured the school with questions ranging from, “What is nine multiplied by three thousand?” to “Can you hand out prizes on our Sports Day?” (27,000 and ‘yes’, respectively), as well as a few others covering possible workshops and help for Prep school performances.
After getting their hands dirty in the nursery, they then cleaned themselves up to lead the snack duty at break time.
The visit was the first in what will be a regular programme as the new Guardians plan their work for the year ahead.
