Introducing our new Guardians for 2025/2026!

After a rigorous application procedure that included an interview, a written application, a pitch to the whole senior school (and a historical track record of previous contribution to the school community) we are delighted to introduce our new Guardians for September; Edie Holm, Libby Thorley, Alex Ford and Pryce Smith. The Guardian positions are effectively Head Boy and Head Girl roles, which are hotly contested among our Year 12 pupils and come with a great deal of responsibility. Among other things Guardians act as a key interface between the pupil body and the school, manage and coordinate some school events and talk to interested families at Open Day. They are also involved with top line decision making at the school. Our Guardians this year have particular interests in developing our Sixth Form provision, media and digital content, school productions, peer mentoring schemes, improving sports at the Abbey and the general direction of the school curriculum. All very noble and worthwhile projects, and we are all suitably excited about what they will bring to the table next academic year. Congratulations to our new school Guardians! Next stop an introductory session at the Prep and Nursery! Watch this space!
