Our swim team were in action again recently competing in the Sussex round of the English Schools primary Team Championships. On this occasion we entered two teams into the Freestyle and Medley Relay events. The Battle Abbey swimmers once again showed their dominance in the pool. Our B team Secured a Bronze medal in the medley relay and a silver medal in the freestyle relay. Our A team Secured gold medals in both relays making them number one in Sussex. Following on from this success the A team qualified for the English Schools South East Regional Finals held this past weekend. In a very intense evening of racing our team once again showed their prowess in the pool. The team came away with a silver medal in the medley and a gold medal in the freestyle relay. These fantastic results now mean that the team have qualified for the National Finals to be held in June at the prestigious Ponds Forge Sheffield.
