We are incredibly proud of Xander D (Year 7) who, as part of the 3rd Hastings Scout troop, has spent the past year fundraising £1,000 (bootfairs, odd jobs and more) to take part in a Jamboree at Kandersteg International Scout Centre (KISC) in Switzerland.
During his time at Kandersteg Xander went on a true scouting adventure, taking part in a night hike, survival skills training, curling, igloo building and skiing, among many other challenges, alongside Scouts from all over the world. This experience not only pushed him physically but also strengthened his teamwork, leadership, and resilience in an international setting. Well done Xander!
