Pupils use straw to tuck their strawberries in for the winter! The strawberries are just part of a number of planting projects at the Prep School which are all part of our Sustainability Lead’s Green Curriculum for pupils. The Prep School grounds now feature a living Willow yurt, The Maria Maslin Memorial Garden (which has a footprint and floorplan based on the ‘Tree of Life’), wide scale tree planting, an orchard, a wildflower meadow, a wetland habitat and some brand new Wheat planting areas. We will report back on how our strawberries are doing in a future post!
