EPQ (Extended Project Qualifications) Presentations in the Library. Universities tell us that the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) is an excellent preparation for undergraduate study as it gives real evidence of independent, critical thinking. It is a stand-alone qualification and an extension from standard A Level studies. Students from Year 12 can opt to take the EPQ, alongside their A Levels and in the process learn skills such as effective research skills, time management, independent working, public speaking and more. This year EPQ topics are as varied as song writing, amphetamine use in Nazi Germany, creation of an online marketing campaign for a Tesla charge monitoring app and creation of a stop motion short film to name but a few. Last year 100% of EPQ grades were at A* to B.
