15 Swimmers from both the Prep and Senior school took part in the ESSA open meet. This event took place over the course of two weekends and was held at K2 in Crawley.
There were many Personal Best times achieved over the course of the weekend, with the swimmers achieving an amazing 30 top ten placings.
This was the first time that the school has entered this event and for many of the swimmers this was also the first time they competed in a 50-metre pool. All the swimmers gave every race their all and were a credit to the school with their behaviour and sportsmanship on poolside.
Special mention must go to siblings Zac (year 8) and Elodie (year 5) for putting Battle Abbey on the medal table.
