As part of National Careers Week, the Careers Team organised another successful Careers Fair last week for all Senior school pupils. Our thanks go to everyone who took part, including former Battle Abbey pupils, current parents and ex-staff, as well as several external exhibitors.
It was a great opportunity for our pupils to meet local employers and employees representing a wide range of different companies and organisations (see links below). They will hopefully have discovered new career paths and industries they may not have previously considered, as well as learning about the specific skills and qualifications that employers look for. The interactive environment of our Careers Fair also helps pupils develop their communication skills by talking to professionals. The perfect bridge between the classroom and the working world.
