Battle Abbey School Sports Scholars Caleb B and Cobey B (Year 8) recently raced at the Sussex Schools Cross Country Championships at Waterhall. Competing in the highly competitive Junior Boys 3km race, the boys took on over 300 runners from schools across Sussex, and we are delighted to report that both Caleb and Cobey delivered exceptional performances, earning qualification to represent Sussex at county level. They will now go on to compete at the South East Schools Inter-County Cross Country Championships, to be held later this year at Writtle College, Chelmsford. This is a fantastic achievement and a testament to their hard work and determination. Congratulations to Caleb and Cobey—we wish them the very best as they take on the next stage of competition!
