Emma commended delegate at MUN

Just before breaking up for the Christmas holidays, the Battle Abbey School Model United Nations Society embarked on its first conference at Lingfield MUN. Eleven Battle Abbey students proudly represented the school as delegates from two key countries on the international political stage; the United Kingdom and Canada where they took on active roles in the Security Council, Historic Security Council, Disarmament and International Security Committee, Economic and Financial Affairs Council, Social, Humanitarian, and Cultural Committee, World Health Organisation and the Youth Council. Despite this being their first ever conference, our delegates did not shy away from the challenges and opportunities that presented themselves. Our participation was highlighted by Year 12 Emma being awarded ‘Commended Delegate’ for her outstanding contribution to the Economic and Financial Affairs Council.
