University Fair 2026

Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome back a number of our former pupils to Battle Abbey for a special event focused on university life, courses, and future pathways. These recent leavers generously gave their time to speak with current students about their personal experiences at a wide range of universities, sharing insights into academic life, campus culture, and the transition from school to higher education.

In total, 16 alumni attended in person, representing institutions such as Durham, Exeter, Bath, and Southampton, among others, with pupils able to ask questions, explore different subject areas, and hear first-hand how their time at Battle Abbey helped shape their next steps.

In addition to the in-person visits, our students also had access to a directory of some 150 former pupils who have recently attended or are currently studying at universities across the UK and beyond to ask questions remotely. This wider virtual network allows us to offer our pupils a diverse and far-reaching look at future possibilities — from traditional academic routes to more vocational or creative pathways.

Events like this are a core part of our careers and futures programme, designed to inspire aspiration and provide real-world guidance as pupils begin to consider their options beyond school. At Battle Abbey, we are committed to supporting every student in discovering their passions and achieving their goals — wherever in the world those ambitions may take them.
